12 months ago the name Rita Ora wouldn't mean very much to many music fans in the UK, but fast forward a year and she is easily one of the hottest breakthrough artists to come out of 2012 – and she looks set to stay at the top with her 'Radioactive Tour' showing a promising start to the new year. 

With the new single of the same name due out in February, it was only right that the blonde bombshell burst onto stage singing the nuclear-inspired club banger to introduce herself. Behind a plastic screen she belted out the track,2013 prom dress dressed in what looked like a robot wedding dress – Rita has always been one to raise eyebrows in the fashion stakes! 

After blasting out 'Radioactive', she went straight into album track 'Facemelt' as she energetically jumped around in front of the giant screen behind her.

After speaking to the crowd for the first time, she told them that she had heard plenty of stories about Scotland knowing how to party before storming into the track which changed her life, the DJ Fresh collaboration 'Hot Right Now'. The track soared straight to the top of the charts last February and gave Rita the spotlight she needed to go on and score another two number one singles and a chart-topping album with her debut cut ORA. 

One endearing factor about the star is the gratefulness she shows to the fans who have helped her get where she is today and even for a girl who was hand picked from obscurity by Jay-Z and flown to New York to meet with him, Rita shows that she is thankful for everyday she gets to live her dream. 

As she admits she is struggling to breath in her tight robot costume, she slows the tempo down for the next section as she shows off her impressive vocal range on 'Been Lying,' before asking the audience to get their mobile phones out for 'Shine Ya Light'. Rita's strange but bold fashion sense rears its head once more as she changes into a flowery one piece with black heels and invites a lucky fan up on stage with her. She once again shows her cheeky side by sitting on the fan's lap and cuddling him continuously. 

Yet another costume change sees Rita dressed in the fashion accessory she admits she can't live without – her black leather trousers.V-neckline dress Armed with her black army hat, she runs through energetic numbers 'Roc The Life' and will.i.am duet 'Fall In Love' before revealing to everyone one of the stars who inspired her to become a singer was rapper,Off the Shoulder cocktail dresses Notorious BIG.ball gown 

She then reveals the American star's music was the groundwork for one of Rita's biggest hits 'How We Do (Party)'. The audience erupts as she encourages everyone to 'get jumping' and show her 'how Scotland likes to party'. With an encore compiling of her biggest hit and debut number one,zuhair murad 'RIP', she thanks the crowd for being the noisiest so far and with that disappears backstage. 

Rita has come a long way from the small town in Kosovo where she was born, before moving with her parents at a young age to London where she stayed until she got her lucky break. But it is easy to see how her endearing personality has earned her celebrity friends in the form of Jay-Z and wife Beyonce and one thing is for sure, Rita's 'Ora' is one which will be shining for a long time to come.
